seven white closed doors

Something I thought was going to work out… didn’t. And while that stings, I’m starting to see it as a redirection rather than a dead end. Maybe some doors don’t fully open because something better — or more right — is waiting to take shape.

Lately, I’ve felt a specific kind of boredom — not from a lack of tasks or responsibilities, but from the desire to make a real impact. To do something. To help, teach, create, and grow. That spark was missing in this past season of life, and as a result, I felt stunted. Like I was waiting for something to shift, but didn’t quite know where to direct that energy.

Over the last six months, I’ve been pouring into this blog. And don’t get me wrong — I’ve loved it. It’s been a space for creativity, connection, and self-expression. I have no plans to stop. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t pay the bills — at least not yet. And the reality is, I want to make a living doing something I love, while helping others in a meaningful way.

Maybe this next chapter will bring just that: purpose, passion, and sustainability, all in one place. Something that feeds both my soul and my stability.

So if you’ve been feeling stuck, uninspired, or restless lately — you’re not alone. Boredom isn’t always about doing nothing. Sometimes, it’s a sign that your heart is craving something deeper. Something more aligned.

Here’s to trusting the pivot. And to believing that the “meh” moments might actually be pointing us somewhere better.
